To build this plug-in you need to have GTK 1.2.x and GIMP 1.1.x
installed. I haven't tested it for GIMP 1.0.4, but it will probably
not work since i18n is used.

  % tar xvfz splitter-0.2.tgz      # unpack the sources
  % make			   # make the plug-in
  % make install		   # install in $(HOME)/.gimp/plug-ins 

The plug-in will install itself in the '/Filters/Generic' as 'Splitter'.
