I mentioned in a previous post that my wife got me some more old books this past holiday [1]. Last year she got me Pat and the Iron Horse [2], the first book I remember reading as a kid. This year, she found me some Big Little Books [3] similar to the one that the school teacher has in her desk [4] in A Christmas Story [5]. These books are probably not very interesting to anyone but us old farts, but they sure bring back memories. I do remember having both of these as a kid. I wonder if I still have them somewhere buried in a box at my parents house.
