I’ve been invited to be a featured columnist in a new Linux magazine. Details are forthcoming. The only thing I’m allowed to say at this point is that if you are a regular reader of the leading Linux magazines then you’re likely to recognize the Editor-in-Chief of the new magazine (no, its not me).<\/p>\n
I’ll be covering my usual haunts: GIMP, graphics, the desktop, etc. If I could just get some feedback from readers on what they want to hear I might have a shot at writing something useful for them.<\/p>\n
First issue should be out by year end or early next year. I’m looking forward to being a featured columnist. My gig with LinuxFormat (which I’ll keep as long as they’ll have me) has been as an unofficial columnist, though it has been a regular column for at least 1.5 years now (probably longer) and I do enjoy that one as well. It’s just that as a featured columnist, I’m an insider wonko instead of a just a guest wonko.<\/p>\n
And as we all know, insider wonko’s get all the good seats at LinuxWorld keynotes.<\/p>\n
