Last Friday I finished updating the kernel build for the BeagleBoard to support building a kernel suitable for use with the SGX drivers.\u00a0 The build depends on the kernel patches from the TI AM35xx\/OMAP35xx PSP SDK.\u00a0 In order to make it easier to build BeagleBox I decided to extract just the patches and place them on the BeagleBox download site (SourceForge).\u00a0 This means that BeagleBox build will have to track the TI releases of the PSP SDK to keep in sync.\u00a0 I think this is a small tradeoff to make the build easier for DIYers so they don’t have to download the whole SDK.\u00a0 It makes the build a little cleaner.<\/p>\n
The changes for the kernel are not yet the default.\u00a0 To use the new build you have to specify SGX=1 on the make command line.\u00a0 This will be changed later to make this kernel build the default once the SGX drivers are also integrated.<\/p>\n
With the kernel build in place I can start work on the SGX integration.\u00a0 I won’t have much time this next week to work on it, however so I can attend to some family issues.\u00a0 But I’ll be back to it mid-next week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
