{"id":781,"date":"2010-11-10T14:58:14","date_gmt":"2010-11-10T21:58:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.graphics-muse.org\/wp\/?p=781"},"modified":"2010-12-14T15:27:08","modified_gmt":"2010-12-14T22:27:08","slug":"ssmtp-making-it-the-alternative-to-sendmail-under-fedora","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.graphics-muse.org\/wp\/?p=781","title":{"rendered":"ssmtp:  making it the alternative to sendmail under Fedora"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I use <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>ssmtp<\/strong><\/span> for my <em>MTA<\/em> (mail transfer agent) under Fedora.\u00a0 Up till now  I&#8217;ve always just moved <span style=\"color: #000080;\">\/usr\/sbin\/sendmail<\/span> out of the way and symlinked  it to where I have ssmtp installed.\u00a0 Today, after upgrading a work machine to F14, I finally bit the bullet and  figured out how to set ssmtp as my MTA the proper way &#8211;
