I’ve been playing around with Wink to create Flash-based tutorials on the GIMP.  My goal is to put some of these tutorials on my upcoming book’s companion web site. 

I created my first tutorial, mostly as a proof of concept for myself.  It shows how you can make basic shapes.  Not particularly useful, but I just wanted to see what the process would be for creating the tutorials.  One thing I noticed was that Firefox’s Adblock plugin wouldn’t display the flash from my website but would display it from a local file.  Makes sense – it trusts me, but not the net.  Anyway, I just had to tell it to trust my own site.

If you take a look at the tutorial, please feel free to offer some feedback.  I’d be interested in knowing how I can format the tutorials to be more useful.
