All projects under XEUS are now back under CVS control. Each project has its own CVS repository so, if anyone actually starts to help with these, I can manage access on a project by project basis more easily.
I’ve got all the projects checked into CVS again in preparation for migrating away from Subversion. The latter is probably a good system, but I’ve had lots of trouble getting authorization to work and I don’t want to spend any more time on it. I know I can get CVS […]
Trying to keep up with the TechoJones, I put all my software projects under Subversion control. Unfortunately the authentication issues with Subversion keep getting in my way. I just tried to add a couple of files to a project and I find I don’t have write access. I used to […]

I keep trying to take my lunch hour to do some writing. There are only a few free hotspots in The Woodlands (which is way north Houston) so getting to one quickly is problematic at best. Starbuck’s are on every corner, with their T-Mobile HotSpots service, but why pay for […]
Wow. WordPress really rocks. It only took about 5 minutes to get it up and running (as advertised), though it took another 30-45 minutes to run through the myriad of configurable options. All this was done on my staging server at home, which used a different domain name than the […]
I’ve fallen victim to the advancing world around me. No longer will I persue the wild dreams of my own blog software. Nay. I’m now a child of WordPress. What I need now is to convert my logging front end (based on vi) to work with the XML-RPC API so […]
